Testimony & Bio

I was born in Hopewell Jct, NY on 23 Oct 1962 and am 58 yrs old. Our family lived in New York until 1974, when we relocated to Columbiana, Ohio, where I attended Jr. High and High School. After graduation in 1980, I joined the United Stated Marine Corps, and served as an Aviation Radar Repairman. I achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant and served until 3 March 1989, when I was convicted of a life crime in California.

It was while imprisoned that I accepted the Lord into my life and began to serve Him. A major component of my Christian education and growth was Metanoia Ministries. Through Metanoia, I not only learned how to grow in my walk, but I also became affiliated with Sierra View Presbyterian Church in Fresno, CA. I was paroled on 12 Oct. 2017 and joined SVPCA shortly thereafter. While in Fresno, I was privileged to also get to know Pastor Tim McCracken, Director for Metanoia Ministries in the San Juaquin region, and be invited to represent the ministry on several occasions. On 30 Dec. 2020, I was discharged from parole and able to leave California. Soon I will be serving Metanoia’s mentor ministry while working alongside the Executive Director, and my longtime friend, Mark Casson, in Chattanooga, Tenn.

My life is a perfect example of the classic image, “Footprints in the Sand”. As I look back, I can clearly see where God has carried me, even while I was working against Him. I feel that with this opportunity to serve the ministry, my life has come full circle, and I feel blessed every day.
