Stuart Ireland - Testimony and Bio
Stuart was saved by Christ while serving time in an incarcerated bootcamp program for juvenile delinquents. He has sensed a call to ministry for quite some time, but he was unsure of where the Lord would have him to serve in His kingdom. After graduating from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2023, he completed a one-year pastoral internship. It was during this internship that he learned about Metanoia Prison Ministries. He had had an interest in prison ministry for many years, but he didn’t know how to go about it until he heard about Metanoia. After learning more about the ministry, it was finally clear that this was the direction the Lord had been leading him to for many years.
Stuart has been married to his loving wife, Simone, since 1999, and they have two daughters together. As a family, the Irelands enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, going to the beach, eating out, playing games, watching movies, reading books, and spending time together. Stuart enjoys running, lifting weights, reading, and learning foreign languages.
