Chase Pinson

Testimony & Bio

Chase was born and raised in Mississippi but lived in Georgia and North Carolina where he served as an Army officer. He came to faith in Christ in 2009 while a student at Ole Miss, but it was not until years later that he truly came to understand the depth of God’s grace. It was this deeper realization of God’s undeserved, unmerited and immeasurable love for sinners that moved Chase to seek seminary training and an entry into ministry.

He knew his call was to the broken—by God’s grace a shepherd to the lost sheep. With a missional mindset, Chase explored international missions, but that was not where God was leading him. Instead, Chase found that a combination of education, experience, and a deep desire to see people delivered from bondage to sin and receive knowledge of the freedom we have in Christ, put him in an ideal position to serve and minister to prisoners in North Carolina.

Chase studied Journalism and Criminal Justice at the University of Mississippi and is working on an MDiv. He met his wife Whitney in college, and they have been married for eleven years. They have two beautiful girls and live in central North Carolina. They enjoy drinking coffee, going on walks, doing most types of exercise, and backpacking long trails in the mountains. Chase loves reading the Puritans and is known for buying more books than he can really read.
